The imposing fortress of Vufflens is the most striking example of a small group of late-Middle-Ages Romanesque castles, characterized primarily by the fact that they were built of brick. An impressive building made up of several elements, Vufflens stands on a small hill overlooking Lake Geneva near Morges. Alone has remained intact to this day the core of what was originally a very extensive work.
