After 1841, the Mörsburg stood empty for sixty years, then the Historical Antiquarian Society Winterthur set up shop there, which has used the castle as a museum ever since. Until 2000 the castle warden lived in an apartment on the 3rd floor of the castle. Since June 2016, the Mörsburg has been looked after by the neighboring inn and restaurant Schlosshalde.
Also has a nice cafe. When the weather is nice, use the outdoor terrace and enjoy the view, in less weather the cozy lounge. Open Wed - Sat 2pm to 5pm, Sun 11am to 5pm
