Where excavators were recently still extracting gravel, a large, regional recreation area, the "Hollerner See," is being created between Eching and Kreuzhof (B 13). The first section, with lawns, a bathing beach, a lifeguard station, a kiosk, and a large parking lot, has already been completed. Further expansion will follow. But even now, visitors to the expansive grounds will find both a lively atmosphere at the well-maintained beach and "pure nature" just a few meters away.
