The museum is located in the former social building that was built behind the control building in 1953. More about the building: inventaris.onroerenderfgoed.be/erfgoedobjecten/200571 The museum is not very large in itself and is really tailor-made to who wants to know everything about life in and around the mine, its origins, the miners and so on (in my opinion, a more mature audience). I have not yet participated in a subsurface simulation (small additional charge), but people who have done so, like Katrien in her tip, always say that it is worth it when I ask them. The fact that the guide worked in the mine is also one of the elements.
