The Irsingener lake is a barrage of Wertach southeast of Irsingen. The lake is located in the area of the municipalities Bad Wörishofen, Türkheim and Reverendingen. On the west bank there is a sailing club with a pier. The lake is dammed by a power station, which serves with two generators of power generation. The construction began in 1962, the lake was completed with the commissioning of the hydroelectric power plant in 1964. Since 2011, there is a fish ladder on the east side of the dam.
