View of the Krappenfelsen.
Powerful and steep, with terraces, overhangs and rocky outcrops. Covering an area of more than two hectares, the rock, together with its immediately adjacent vineyards and dry stone walls, forms a community recognized as worthy of protection in 1938. Since then, the Krappenfelsen has been designated as a so-called areal natural monument. A typical landscape element that is unique in its special shape - shaped by the Neckar River when it has sunk into the hard slate of the Muschelkalk.

Beautiful bike path right on the Neckar. Currently (as of summer 2018), the way is freshly graveled, with too narrow tires, it is therefore uncomfortable. But the section is not sooooo long, therefore well feasible for all cyclists.
