It is a huge beach, 3,900 meters long, which runs from the mouth of the Muga River to the Nàutic Almatà campsite, next to the mouth of the Fluvià River. But you have to be careful, as a large area can only be used for walking along the shore. We must not forget that it is located in front of the main lagoons of the Parc Natural dels Aiguamolls de l'Empordà, and the area is a nature reserve, so it enjoys maximum protection. Several species nest in the dunes and back dunes of the area and should not be disturbed. In the rest of the beach there is enough space to enjoy peacefully. The beach does not have services beyond the campsites located on either side. Access is controlled through the Can Comas path and on foot, from both ends. If we want to cross from the Empuriabrava urbanization, we will have to get wet when crossing the Muga River.
