Here in the Wienhausen monastery garden, this large handle pump immediately catches your eye and after a few pumping movements it makes a splash... the swing arm has recently been secured with a U-lock 😢
The pump was reinstalled in 2011 after a restoration.
And one more thing...the bike should be parked or pushed briefly in the monastery garden!

The old water pump from 1850 was restored in 2010/2011 and installed here. As can be seen on a sign, the pump delivers "no" drinking water but is fully functional.
