Nice wide paved bike path along the Jacques Paryslaan, the part of the R4 from Evergem to Zelzate. The path is 10 km long with only 2 crossings with traffic lights.
The cycle path is wide enough to cycle smoothly next to each other without hindering oncoming traffic. In places, the cycle path is separated from the motorway by means of a noise barrier, which minimizes the nuisance from the R4.
On the other side there is a lot of greenery, trees and meadows, and there are connections to roads to Wippelgem, Kluizen and Ertvelde. At the oval of Wippelgem you can go to Doorzele and the ferry from Terdonk via the bicycle bridge.
