Beautiful trail in the Black Forest National Park on the historic Kirchweg between Herrenwies and the former forest colonies (Hundsbach).
The use of the route concept from April 2017 is open all year for hikers and mountain bikers!
(As of 06/2019, see path concept under nationalpark-schwarzwald.de)
The Kirchweg was until the establishment of a chapel in Hundsbach (1858) the connection to the Herrenwieser church. The Hundsbach colonists (Holzmacher, Köhler, Pottaschbrenner, raftsmen, etc.) took 2 hours for the route. (Source: de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hundsbach_(Forbach)
