The report from the "QSP AMATEURFUNKJOURNAL":
A great offer from Gerhard OE6RDD enabled the establishment of a fixed 2 m EME station in Halbenrain JN76XR.
An aluminum mast with a length of 12 meters serves as antenna support. The mast has a slide with which the antenna structure can be easily moved up and down using a cable winch. The power supply is a little worrying. There is still no electricity in the container and the nearest socket is about 170 meters away. At the moment there is only the possibility to lay out an extension cable. You can calculate what is left of the mains voltage at the end of the cable despite a 2.5 mm cross-section with 2 KW power consumption. This station should ultimately serve as a training station for those interested in EME and allow amateurs who have no opportunity to do a QSO over the moon to do the same.
