Pumphouse Marsh Wildlife Reserve is one of the smallest coastal wetlands at the City of Oshawa in Durham Region with a wetland size of 7 ha. Inputs of water to the marsh come almost entirely from storm sewers that flow from the densely urbanized land surrounding the marsh. The marsh is home to a variety of birds, wildlife, and vegetation. The reserve is adjacent to the Waterfront Trail. publications.gc.ca/collections/collection_2012/ec/En164-23-2011-eng.pdf
