The beautiful castle is in the center of Eferding, so a short detour is available to take a look. It belongs to the Starhemberg family, which not only owns this castle, but also all sorts of other exclusive properties, which it markets, for example, as refuges for well-heeled customers. The castle is a member of the Austrian association Via Imperalis, which cares about the promotion of European cultural assets, but also publicly accessible.
