Martinak State Park sprawls along the edges of the Choptank River and Watts Creek. It hosts a huge array of wildlife and plants in its pine forests, fields and marshes.
The park was given to the state by George Martinak in 1961. Today, you can enjoy its network of hiking trails, campsites, shelters and playgrounds. There's a nature center too.
