The transmission mast is a remnant of medium wave radio. At the beginning of 2012, the SWR withdrew from the medium wave supply. Now the 273 m high mast stands useless but imposing above Mühlacker.
The functionless 130 meter high tubular steel mast, which last served as a reserve antenna for medium wave, was demolished on November 5, 2013. To do this, the tethers in one direction were separated so that the remaining tethers pulled the mast in the desired direction and brought it down.
