Gunung Rinjani National Park covers an area 413.3 sq.km and is surrounded by a further 660 sq.km of Protected Forest. The National Park was established in 1997. The landscape is dominated by the peak of Gunung Rinjani, the caldera with the spectacular Lake Segara Anak, and the active volcano Barujari.
