Very beautiful alpine hike with insured sections up to C/D.
Great view!
On such routes, the times calculated by Komoot often do not match. For the whole round from the Bettelwurfhütte and back you need 4 hours plus breaks.
walking times:
- From the Bettelwurfhütte to the start: 30 minutes.
- From the start to the small begging throw: 1 hour
- From the small to the large begging throw: 1.25 hours
- From the large begging throw to the begging throw hut: 1.25 hours
The entrance does not go off the path to the right or left of the Bettelwurfhütte, but directly behind the hut on the cross. The first section up to the small Bettelwurf consists of alpine walking terrain with short rock steps; partly without and partly with steel cable (A to B/C). The "fine line" between small and large begging litter is rather a wide saddle. The second section already looks much steeper from a distance and you have to grab it harder. With difficulties up to C/D and II, you can cross the rock partly without and partly with a steel cable. You can take off your climbing harness at the summit. The Eisengattergrat for the descent is also provided with a steel cable. But you can use it more as a handrail in alpine walking terrain (A/B). However, you should continue to wear your helmet because of the risk of falling rocks.
