People of Syokosimo Village belong to the Dani tribe group. The Village lies at an altitude of about 1,600 m just above the riverbed of Sungai Mugi. A little upstream from the village you can cross the Sungai Mugi on a bamboo bridge. The river is a tributary of Sungai Baliem River in the central highlands of Papua Province.
