The Alzibo River in Quintela de Lampaças offers an ideal natural setting for hiking and trekking. There are several hiking trails that allow you to explore the beauty of the region.
rather for walkers who like to walk forward!!! it's not very varied but hey there's nobody. great walk alone, I met a fox... The path is a dirt road, never a path. be careful, there are a lot of bifurcations which can make the walk complicated, it is still a bit long...in fact, I would rather recommend the bicycle.
The Azibo Reservoir, classified as a Protected Landscape, is located in the municipality of Macedo de Cavaleiros. This magnificent body of water, combined with sand and a vast diversity of fauna and flora, is home to two beautiful river beaches: Praia Fluvial da Ribeira and Praia Fluvial da Fraga da Pegada. Both beaches are very popular throughout the bathing season, not only because of the quality of the water but also because of the quality of the infrastructure.
