Thapa La (formerly known as Dhampus Pass) is a high mountain pass located at 5,244 m between Tukuche Peak in the southwest, Thapa Peak in the northeast and the Hidden Valley in the west. Thapa La and French Col are connecting the valleys of Myagdi Khola and Kali Gandaki Rivers.
At the Thapa La, one has fabulous views of the Himalayan mountains further east, Tilicho (7,134 m), Nilgiri North (7,061 m), Annapurna I (8,091 m) and Annapurna South (7,219 m).
