Instead of a ramp, the city of Mülheim installed a lift to get from the high promenade to the Ruhr. The lift holds up to 3 bicycles, due to the arrangement of the doors but no cargo bikes, tandems, etc. At standstill of the elevator there is a staircase or you have to go back to the main train station and use the ramp there.
