Berlin Brandenburg Airport "BER" Berlin Brandenburg Airport, also known as Berlin Brandenburg Airport "Willy Brandt", is the new main airport of the German capital Berlin and is located approximately 24 km/13 nm south of the city centre. It will replace Berlin-Tegel and Berlin Schönefeld, which will become part of the new airfield. In FlightGear, work on EDDB began in 2018 terminal 1 is located between the runways and is the main facility serving most aircraft stands. Part of the building consists of Terminal 2 with a view of the former Schönefeld Airport, which has become Terminal 5 of BER. Terminal 3 + 4 (extension T1 and T2) are expected to be completed by 2030, bringing the theoretical capacity of BER to about 58 million passengers per year.
