A beautiful and quiet area on the former border strip between the GDR and the FRG (today the state border between Lower Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt). The path is quite bumpy and mostly consists of holey concrete slabs, like most of the old GDR border paths along the "Green Belt".

Along the Jeetzel the wet meadows "Kusebruchswiesen" extend.
The landscape is calm, wide and unique. There is also an elevated observation post on the route, from where you can easily observe the animal and bird life.

Some of the paths are quite overgrown, but with a lot of momentum you can easily get through nettles and the like. 😎
And mosquitoes were very present.
