Beautifully located campsite, which is a good starting point for hikes, bike or canoe tours in the area. The site is located directly on the cycle or hiking trail around Lake Ratzeburg and has its own access to the water for swimming or paddling. Canoes and SUPs can be rented.

The campsite is beautifully and idyllically situated on Lake Ratzeburg. The sanitary facilities are clean and well-kept. There are water points with drinking water (to fill up the water bottles) all over the place. If you arrive by bike or on foot, you can set up your tent on the so-called terrace (reservation is recommended). This is a kind of head start on a slope with a view of the lake. What I would like if there was a seating area on the tent terrace with a small table (for cooking, etc.), because unlike the other campers, the hiking tourist does not have a chair, table or similar in his luggage. Hence 4 out of 5 stars.
