An oak tree of exceptional age, growing in the northern part of the city of Kėdainiai, Babėnai. At M. Daukša st. 43 built a link to the oak (0.1 km). in 1999 November 3 declared a state-protected botanical natural heritage object. This tree is the oldest in Kėdainiai, related to a historical figure. It is said that around the 16th century it was planted in the middle by Mikalojus Daukša, the pioneer of Lithuanian writing, because it grows near his former homestead.[1] A memorial plaque dedicated to him is attached to the trunk.
