The Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary in Tišina is one of the oldest and most monumental religious monuments in Prekmurje. The documented origins of the parish in present-day Tišina date back to at least the 13th century, and the first written mention of the church dates back to 1347. The construction history of the church has not yet been fully clarified due to a lack of archival sources and expert research.
