World famous for its castle and its horse races which attract enthusiasts and tourists, the city of Chantilly is also a city of bikes having hosted the start of the 21st and last stage of the Tour de France 2016.
Beyond the anecdote, the city is exceptional both by its history and by the quality and diversity of its heritage. The Grandes Ecuries, the park and the Château de Chantilly form an area located in the heart of a forest of over 6,000 hectares, at the gates of the city. The castle grounds retrace the history of the gardens, embellished in the 17th century by Le Nôtre. The Great Stables will be built a century later.
