The sculpture symbolizes natural force. The natural law "eat and be eaten" can be experienced when viewing. The basic model of the figure is composed of massive tree parts that were only processed with a chainsaw. The wooden parts were poured into concrete. These were then put together on a green area right next to the embankment of the Little Brombachsee opposite Absberg to form the sculpture "Echse".
