Situated on the banks of the Lek River, this striking building tells the story of Nieuwpoort, where water has always played a crucial role in the town's development.

Within the walls of the old Town Hall is the Nieuwpoort Museum, where visitors of all ages are taken on an interactive journey through time. The museum focuses on the turbulent times of battle, destruction and occupation that the town experienced, with a particular focus on the disaster year of 1672.
