Steeped in history, the castle almost fell into ruin, but Captain Ansell gave it away in 1981. The new owners then sold it in 1988 to the Wildmoser, Pichler and Schützeneder families, who then commissioned an extensive restoration. A little change on the tour. Very nice section of the route. From the ferry you have a great view of the castle and the Danube. For those who usually only cycle over bridges, ferries are a very interesting thing. It's fun and brings joy!
