Vasikaholmi rand, a small beach on the peninsula in Haapsalu, is an ideal place to end the day. It has a special atmosphere, especially at sunset - the water turns warm orange and pink tones and the silhouettes of the reed beds are gently outlined on the horizon. It is worth just stopping and enjoying the moment as the sun slowly disappears behind the coast.
At the end of the peninsula, the Kajakarahu lighthouse rises up, a prominent landmark that can be seen from afar. The area has a relaxed charm and invites you to feel the sea and the salty air. In the background you can see the long, narrow strip of Uussadama - ideal for a little exploration.
For hiking, the combination of coastal paths and the narrow path along the edge of the beach is ideal. Although some sections are a bit uneven, this adds to the natural, casual atmosphere of the place.
