Woolsthorpe Manor looks like a typical Lincolnshire farmhouse. This is where Isaac Newton was born, grew up and made some of his most important discoveries that changed our understanding of the world.

When the plague struck in 1665, Newton came home to Woolsthorpe Manor where he did some of the most revolutionary maths and physics of his age.

Currently entry to the house is only available on a pre-booking basis.

Not a lot to be seen from the road but a very pretty location tucked down the lane in its little valley.
