The medieval village of Ponticello dates back to the 14th-15th century and is located about 4 kilometers from Filattiera, along the ancient route of the Via Francigena. It develops entirely behind the oratory of Saints Rocco and Bernardo, founded in 1648. Its facade was originally facing the town, but in 1819, the oratory was restored and enlarged with the addition of the copper-covered dome. while the facade was built towards the outside.

To see inside the village characterized by pointed arches, in the round and barrel, which connect the streets and the houses, the tower house dating back to the X-XII century, a typical fortified house with three superimposed rooms with an entrance located on the first floor, which was accessed by a retractable ladder, while through some hatches you passed to the other internal compartments where water and food reserves were kept.
