Cap Malheureux is a village in the Rivière du Rempart district of northern Mauritius. Here you have a nice view of the Coin de Mire, an island just a few kilometers north of the main island. The place is said to have been so named by the French settlers after the invasion of the English, who landed here in 1810 to conquer the island. The small church on site is one of the top photo motifs on the island. You can also go for quiet walks on the beach.
