At the highest point on the Roscoff coast is the Sainte-Barbe chapel. Ideal as a stopover on a jog through the picturesque town.

As an expression of devotion to the dangers faced by sailors and boats in this thriving port, the Sainte Barbe chapel was built in 1619 to “beg the divine goodness both of the people of Minihy (of Leon) and of all Christianity to guard against incursions by pirates and other enemies of the Church".
The Johnnies, who left Roscoff from their ships to sell their onions across the Channel, did not fail to salute the town's patron saint by raising their flag three times in farewell.
The chapel built over the harbor and its white walls now serve as a landmark for shipping. Above all, it is an exceptional vantage point, on the one hand over the port of Roscoff and the island of Batz, on the other hand over the entrance to the Bay of Morlaix and its islands, which are offered to hikers.
A pardon will be held there on the 3rd Sunday in July.
