This palm forest, a World Heritage Site, boasts of being the largest of its kind in Europe, although it is believed that it must have been even larger in Arab times. This monumental complex of orchards has more than 200,000 palm trees, originally cultivated for their delicious dates.
Officially known as Parque de Trafico, this beautiful and picturesque park is one of the icons of the city of Elche. When going through it inside, you will walk among palm trees and different species of vegetation and you will pass through some very colorful artificial lakes. A place to escape from the city and connect with nature!
