Guardian Presences are a set of reinforced concrete and clay sculptures in the Chaca pampa in memory of the first cultures that inhabited this territory. One sculpture is a hemispherical structure called The Ancestors. And another is a set of two humanoid figures called The origin of the lineage. At this crossroads I left the Pan-American highway to start the ascent towards the Chilean foothills along the Desert Route.
