It's nice that you can drive along the Weser all the way to Bremen. The path is sometimes narrow and sometimes wide, but always easy to drive on.

As a flood protection of Obervieland the Habenhauser dike fulfills an important function. In everyday life, the dike facility is also used by cyclists, inline skaters and walkers for active leisure activities. The green slopes to the right and left of the trail, down to the shore of the Werdersee, invite you to picnic and sunbathe in summer. A particular advantage for many is the central location of the Habenhausener dike.
Continuing into the Arster Weser dike without interruption, the two together form part of the Weser cycle path, which was developed by Hann. Münden leads to Bremerhaven and invites to longer tours. The nature reserve Neue Weser, which borders the Habenhauser dike, can also be used to extend excursions into the countryside. (Source: bremen.de)

Thehabenhauser Deich is a very popular route for cyclists, walkers, cabbage and asparagus drivers and is always full on Father's Day.
The best time to slow down here is from April to September in the evenings.
