The Vila-rasa marshes are located to the south-west of the farmhouse that gives them their name, in a small valley oriented from north-west to south-east through which the Vila-rasa river flows, bounded to the north-east by the coast de l'Horta and the serrat dels Morts and to the south-west by the Vila-rasa range.

These are two small swamps. The largest, rounded and located to the northwest of the smaller, occupies an approximate area of 1.2 hectares and has a perimeter greater than 400 meters. The minor has an elongated shape, is located at a lower level than the major (approximately 8 meters) and occupies an area of approximately 2300 square meters, with an approximate perimeter of 200 meters.

The two swamps are surrounded by slopes covered with pines, reaching in several areas close to the swamps. Due to their status as a wetland, the two swamps are home to numerous species of animals, especially birds.
