    A museum since 1934, the history of the farm goes back to 1764.
    The museum's collection of objects reflects the traditional ethnographic collecting interests of the founding couple. In addition to certificates from the rural living and working world (mostly from the 19th and beginning of the 20th century), traditional items and costumes can be seen to a lesser extent. The exhibits were largely donated by citizens of Fischerhuder, and some are also purchases from outside.

    Worth a visit.

    March - October
    Wed., Fri., Sat. and Sun. 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.

    November - February
    Saturday and Sunday 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.

    Admission is free.

                The "Tietjenhof" has been in the center of Fischerhude in the immediate vicinity of the church for over 400 years. Since 1934 the museum and local history house Irmintraut has been housed in the large farmhouse.
                The two-story house for people and cattle, which is typical of the Fischerhude area, has been expanded over the years to include a granary, a bakery and a boat shed. The entire complex now has the character of a small museum village.
