The Japanese tea house is located in the approximately 100-hectare park of Schloss Fasanerie. It is a branch of the Eichenzell registry office and is therefore also called the wedding house. The Japanese Tea House, with its octagonal floor plan and surrounding arcade, dates from the mid-18th century and is a remnant of the original baroque garden. In 2019/2020 it was extensively renovated and equipped with new lighting. Inside, a large painting by Emanuel Wohlhaupter (1683–1756) adorns the ceiling, depicting Neptune with his entourage. The palace gardens are open daily.
