The rest of the lake is available to anglers and divers. In the lake there are rudds, eels, perch and now and then pike, zander and catfish. In addition, there are still carp of all kinds as well as roach, trout and various types of white fish.

The bathing lake is also known as Dürener Adria or Gürzenicher See. It is also the place for a wide variety of sporting and cultural events such as DJ events, sporting events, concerts, themed parties, etc.
