Behind the Santuario da Nostra Senhora do Cabo Espichel is the Ermida da Memoria. Wonderful view from there.

The chapel dates back to the late 15th century. The interior is ornate with tiles that tell the legend of the apparition of "Senhora do Cabo" in 1410. The legend tells of two old men who had the same dream in which the saint rode up the cliffs on a white mule, leaving hoofprints. These tracks were later identified as tracks of sauropod dinosaurs from the Upper Jurassic period.
