The Snow Chapel, with its simple style, blends harmoniously into the local landscape. Originally built as a field chapel, it was located outside the village. It is now bordered by a residential area to the west and the B33 to the northeast.
The first chapel, today's choir, was probably built in the late Gothic period in the second half of the 15th century and was first mentioned in the "Waydbrief" in 1522. The nave, which is based on the Baroque style, was built in 1715-1716 and both parts are coordinated with each other.
