Awesome section of the high trail from the hut to Heidbüel. Technical, flowy, a few short breaks from the bike, everything a biker's heart desires.
A complete contrast to the motorway from Bärgli to the hut. Although I really like this section too.

Currently, according to the Switzerlandmobile map, it is closed due to a landslide. I didn't notice anything. Or maybe I did, there really was something there, about 10-20m wide, and passable without any problem.

The trail can be ridden in both directions. Starting from the hut is definitely a little easier and flowier, as it tends to go downhill.
But even to the Carschinahütte, the trail is fun to ride with a little strength in your legs, except for a few short places (2-3 meters each).
Conclusion: a real highlight in terms of both views and trails.
