All that remains of the medieval church is the Romanesque tower up to the height of the gable. The church was rebuilt between 1680 and 1682 and the tower was added. The high pointed roof is, however, younger. The church received its striking baroque interior around 1778.

Only the Romanesque tower of the medieval church has survived up to the level of the gable. The tall pointed helmet is younger. When the new church was built in 1680-1682, the tower was integrated into the new building. According to dates in the triumphal arch and in the ceiling painting, the church received its baroque interior in 1778 or a few years earlier.
