The Pollare Bridge is an iron pedestrian bridge over the Dender in Pollare, a sub-municipality of Ninove. The bridge was built in 1913 and has been a protected village sight since 1980. The bridge connects the two banks of the Dender and is located near the Pollare lock, which still works with bulkhead beams. The bridge has a rich history and used to be a popular destination for fishermen and tourists. The bridge was also blown up in World War II and later restored. The bridge is a fine example of industrial archeology and a unique heritage in the Dender region.

The Dender flows peacefully and in many slightly curved loops through the beautiful landscape of East Flanders. An extremely popular cycle path runs along its shore. Here in the village of Pollare, the cycle path leads under an interesting bridge that connects both banks of the Dender.
