The white-blue-white label indicates though it is T4 or more and SAC rates it indeed as T5...while the first part from Rothorn to the first "exit" chance might be a T3, the ascent to Tannhorn is surely T5. Also, it is not recommended to do the trail when there was heavy rain the days before

The way up the Ällgäuwhoren from the Rothorn is even more nerve-wracking than the part before due to a small rock slide with loose debris. Really nothing for the untrained or faint of heart!!
