The church in Ketzür is one of the most attractive places of worship of the district, due to the peculiarity and rarity of its original structure and its later transformation as well as its very valuable pieces of equipment. To the west is a small seven-sided central brick building built between 1250 and 1300. The lower section was built in the 13th century, raised in the 15th century and supplemented by the tower. The rectangular ship was built in 1599. The altar structure made of wood from the year 1600 rises over two storeys and is very richly equipped. The main floor has 16 small coats of arms from the family v. Brösicke and her ancestors. In the middle field is the main picture (Last Supper) in the entablature. The Baroque painted wooden beamed ceiling in the nave and the Patronatsloge were made around 1690.
