Magnificent views of the entire Kaiserstuhl from the northwest as well as the towns in front of it on the Kaiserstuhl and parts of the Black Forest behind it. There are also views to the south of the Rhine and the Rhine plain as well as the Vosges mountain range. In the foreground, interesting views of the volcanic rocks and rock faces of the southern Limberg with the former quarry with the remains of the Old Limburg on it.
There are a number of interesting explanations on the boards (direction and distance of numerous towns and mountains in the Kaiserstuhl; map with sites of old settlements in and around the Kaiserstuhl).
A shelter with a table and benches invites you to rest.
Since 2021, a sculpture by the sculptor Hubert Lang from Riegel can also be admired: The hippocampus (horse fish) is an ancient hybrid creature from the entourage of the Roman sea god Neptune. This is intended to draw attention to the Roman history of the region and the nearby Rhine.
